Wide Learning™ Trial Tool Terms of Use

In order for customers to use the Wide Learning™ Trial Tool (hereafter referred to as "the service") developed by Fujitsu Research FUJITSU LIMITED (formerly named FUJITSU LABORATORIES LTD.) (hereafter referred to as "the company"), they must agree to the contents of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you cannot use the service.

If you are a minor, you may use the service as long as one of your guardians consents to these Terms of Use.

1. Terms of Use

The service can only be used for trial or evaluation purposes.

2. Usage Fees

You can use the service free of charge.

3. Restrictions

The following acts are prohibited when using this service:

  • Providing false or inaccurate information pertaining to the service to a third party
  • Slandering, defaming, threatening or threatening the company or a third party.
  • Acts that infringe or are likely to infringe upon the rights of the company and third parties, including copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights
  • Using, disclosing, or providing to a third party any information obtained through the service beyond the scope of the purpose of use set forth in Article 1, regardless of how such information is copied, sold, published, etc.
  • Using information obtained through the service to demand money, etc., from the company or a third party, or cause disadvantage or damage.
  • Acts that impede the smooth operation of the service, damage the reputation of the company, or are likely to do either
  • Acts that place an excessive burden on the network, system, etc. of the service
  • Reverse engineering and analysis of the service
  • Unauthorized access to the network or systems of the company
  • Acts that are contrary to public order or morals, such as criminal acts or acts that violate laws and regulations, or acts that are likely to violate laws and regulations
  • Acts involving organizations related to anti-social forces, etc., acts having inappropriate relationships such as giving benefits to anti-social forces, or acts that may involve such relationships
  • Uploading and inputting personal information and/or data prohibited from being provided to the company by a contract with a third party, etc. into the service.
4. Attribution of Rights

All intellectual property rights relating to the service belong to the company or to persons who license such rights to the company, and consenting to these Terms of Use does not mean the licensing of such intellectual property rights beyond the scope necessary to use the service.

5. Disclaimer
  • The company makes no warranty, express or implied, that the service will meet a customer's specific objectives, have the functionality, commercial value, accuracy, and usefulness the customer expects, that a customer's use of the service will comply with applicable laws and regulations or internal rules of industry associations, etc., that a customer can continue to use the service, and that no defects will occur.
  • The company shall not be liable for any damage a customer suffers in connection with the service, except as a result of our intent or gross negligence. In addition, the company shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, future, or lost profits.
  • The content and URLs used for the service may be changed or discontinued without notice. The company is not responsible for any damage caused to the customer by changes to the content of the service or the suspension or termination of the operation of the service.
  • Any disputes arising between the customer and a third party in connection with the service shall be resolved at the customer's own responsibility.
6. Suspension or Termination of the Service

The company may stop provision of the service at its discretion. The company will not accept requests for suspension from customers or third parties. In addition, the company shall not be liable for any damages suffered by the customer or any third party due to the suspension or non-suspension of the Service.

7. Customer Data

The company may process the data uploaded and submitted by the customer to the service and the analysis data obtained by the customer through use of the service into a format that does not allow the identification of an individual or a corporation, and then view and use the data for the following purposes or allow a third party to view and use the data.

8. Handling of Customer Personal Information

In providing this service, the company does not handle any personal information or data of customers.

9. Security Export Control

If you engage in any export transaction related to the service that requires a license under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law (including any relevant government ordinances), you shall obtain the prescribed license.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use or any part thereof is found to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to the Consumer Contract Act or any other statute, the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use and the remaining parts of any provision found to be invalid or unenforceable shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
  • The governing law of these Terms of Use shall be Japanese law.
  • The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance for all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use.
